About to switch distro to zorin and a few questions

hi,

im planning to switch from linux mint 19.3 32-bit to zorin lite 15.3 32-bit soon and i want to know some things first.
when 16 version is going to be release?
there is widgets like weather, colour temperature and brightness?
there is dark theme?
can i use a external monitor too?
which version of gnome is going to be on the 16 version?

i hope you answer me, not yet but very soon i will install it alongside mint in other partition of my harddrive disk.

Very Soon(tm)
You could go with Zorin OS 16 now - pretty stable.

there is widgets like weather, colour temperature and brightness?

There's a weather thing if you click the clock and date.I believe you can find the other stuff at gnome extension site.

there is dark theme?

Sure

which version of gnome is going to be on the 16 version?

3.36 I believe

I just wanted to inform you that from Zorin 16, there will be no 32bit version. It is because Zorin 16 is based on Ubuntu 20.04 which also does not support 32bit.

If your system absolutely needs 32bit OS, you should look for distributions based on Debian (which still supports 32bit) such as MX Linux and LMDE (Debian based Mint).

Missed that bit.

No 32-bit.

Just FYI, 15.3 Lite 32 runs great on my old Dell D620. I'm OK with 18.04LTS. Extended security maintenance until Apr 2028 too.
