As the title says, when i try to access the properties of a image it closes the tab. I've tried reinstalling nautilus. Here my specs if it helps:
AMD Ryzen 3 3200g Vega 8
8 GiB RAM
Sorry for the Google Drive login, this is Google's fault and i am not creating a signature on dropbox.
The included "Folder Color" package allows users to set different colors on folders.
But it has been found to be one cause of Nautilus (Files) File manager crashing.
That command uninstalls the Folder Color package.
Didnt work i going to try updating my system, maybe zorin updater didn't covered all of the new update due the new law that has being applied yesterday here in Brazil, tomorrow i'll try to change my location in the system so if you manage to tell how i do that would help also. Also i forgot to close my bedroom's door so maybe my dogs where playing and triped in the power cable something that was the origin of various problems i had involving Zorin when i first installed it in my machine.
Yes, these laws are ill-thought out and are widespread. I live in USA and the state I live in passed a similar law.
And California did recently, too. This has spawned a lot of discussion here:
Perhaps start your troubleshooting by launching the file manager nautilus from a terminal:
nautilus
Let the terminal opened.
Then try viewing the properties for some image files and see if you get any error messages in the terminal when nautilus crashes.
I noticed a few days ago that I had the same issue where selecting properties on a image makes the window disappear. I think it was a bug caused by a past update.
I just received a update a few mintues ago and I no longer have the issue.
Can you confirm that it was also fixed on your end by today's update?
Just passed a update and upgrade command in the terminal and apparently this got fixed, i hope the bug dont return like brave resolution bug that i have posted about when i first got here.
