I have a blog where I write about various topics. In your opinion, if I write about the 8 layouts of the Zorin OS that are offered in the Pro version and how to activate each of them in the Core version, am I allowed to do this or not? For example, how to activate the macOS layout, etc. Of course, my blog is in Persian.
I think it's fine to write about it since all of the software used is developed under an open source license. Although, the layouts themselves are not derivative work of the upstream distribution, so those could technically be under a different license.
I'd say you can start with the write up with confidence, but let's just wait for confirmation on that.
