@0Picass0 Just to be clear, Have you installed ZorinOS Core or Lite?
I ask, as you mention Thunar (File Manager that comes with Lite) earlier, but your Forum Profile states "Education, Core", but not Lite. Zab

Hi Zab, it's Core, although if I do a search for file manager, I see Thunar.

Where are you performing this search?

Hi @Aravisian

Your first hit at the top shows Nautilus, which is labeled simply as "Files" in the app menu in Microsoft Style. It shows as installed.

What follows below that is suggestions from the Software store of file managers that can be installed nut are not currently.

Thank you. I realise that now but it was very confusing at the time as nowhere is Nautilus mentioned, and a search for a file manager to launch was no help. I searched the forum, the internet and YouTube. :frowning:

Just click on Files, go down to the bottom and click on Other Places, then open the Boot folder... I would have understood. It was all very confusing and didn't understand at all because the words meant nothing to me.

Anyway, it's all done now, and I'm grateful to everyone who tried to help me. Bonus: I've learnt some new vocabulary!

If You want, you could rename Nautilus from the used ''Files'' to ''Nautilus''. That could make it maybe a bit easier. It is relatively easy to do:

Open the Terminal and type:

sudo nano /usr/share/applications/org.gnome.Nautilus.desktop

Then it looks like this:

Directly in the 2nd Row (marked red), you have the Line Name=Files which You change to Name=Nautilus (like you see on the Picture). Then push ctrl+o to save the Change, Enter to confirm and ctrl+x to exit. And when it's done, You can see at the Icon ''Nautilus'' instead of ''Files'':

That is a really good idea, @Ponce-De-Leon . Thanks, I'll do that - done!
I'm back here because I'm following the same advice on another laptop now. Sorry it's been so long, this term has been a killer!
