Hello again
I try unclock my encrypten laptop Zorin os 17.3 and...i try any combinacion xD but after...7,8 maybe 10 time-i see this:
And i don't know what i'm doing so i shut down x)(before them when i 3 time send bad password and i thing than he blocked - I hard shut down and power on and try again x))
This is why it is good to write down passwords if they are complex. And another reason why I never bother with encryption.
I think than i write down password xD but I remeber one change which I don't write and i don't remeber x) - and I don't understan why this show me x)
I don't want if somebody find my password-can read this but x)
Ok i see then is the root shell...is it posivvly return my password? Am I must remember this? I don't want format x)
The problem with LUKS encryption is that if you lose your password, there is no recovery.
LUKS is very secure. It is highly redundant, as well. Generally, my advice is to not use it unless the computer is portable and holds a lot of very sensitive information.
I understood thank you
sooo...i try again again and i do it x)
One question: why shell showed like picture?
LUKS encrypts the entire drive, so the system could not proceed to init or even access Root until the encryption was unlocked.
I understood-why system want run init?
Init is initialization - that is Starting of Services.
This is the same as Starting Your Car - If not started, you cannot drive it.
I see...why inittramfs was run after ten incorret writing password?
Initramfs is a temporary and early phase of booting the computer. Since the kernel cannot be accessed until Init has run - InitRAMFS, Initialization Random Access Memory File System is a compressed version of Init that runs on the RAM to allow you to be able to access EFI, basic operations - to use the computer at all.
If there is no loaded operating system - what provides the means to enter your password?

Provides? I do,t understand context-i want write password and unlock my laptop because i have on him importants data and...I don't want lose them x)
I understand, but your questions above do not relate to that.
In order to unlock a LUKS encrypted drive, you must know ore remember the password. If you have forgotten it, it is most likely beyond recovery.
LUKS is extremely secure.
Passwords of extremely secure systems are important and must be kept track of.
It may be a painful lesson.

I understood thank you
I still trybit because i remeber how i write this but i don't remeber yet-which exacly letrers x)
By All Means, keep trying to remember it... Maybe write out different combinations first and look at which seems the most familiar.
And practice typing them without entering to see if muscle memory jars anything.
Strange...is thisnposssible when I manual shut down my laptop-LUKS can brrak and in it settings something broken example: codong utf-8?
