Another problem has just arrived

So, I attempted to Suspend when I finished last night but the PC would not come out of suspend as has been the recent problem (as mentioned previously).
That means that I have 3 Libre Office spreadsheets that need resurrecting. This happens normally quickly and successfully without a problem. But not now.......
I have attempted to Save As each file, none of them will. I do not have permission. I have permissions set correctly on the Drive, and each folder and the file.
I cannot even create a new on the drive!
This is a brand new problem effecting a drive, folders and files I have been using for 3 weeks.
Anyone have any ides on this?
Thanks, Gareth

PS. Just checked another drive and I can't create a folder in that drive either.

What happens when You click at the Save Symbol?

More importantly I cannot create a new folder in any files in any drive!

Ok it appears I can create a new folder in Home but not directly into my internal drive.

Now one of my drives is saying it is unmounted. Anyone any ideas?

Went to Root and this is the permissions page, is this right?

My "Work Drive" permissions, seems to say I cannot change permissions

Ok, this can be marked up as resolved.

It appears that although fastboot was disabled, Windows has the ability to turn it back on. If you access the command prompt in Windows and type in - powercfg /h off that turns it off permanently.
After restart both drives were unmounted, so I had to right click and mount but it appears that things are back where they were.

Unfortunately this is a very common thing that Windows will do, so it's worth checking every once in a while to make sure the things you turned off in Windows remain off. Glad you got it sorted!

If I find similar problems arising I will. But I am told this is a permanent solution. Having Win10 offline for 99% of the time should help hopefully.

I haven't had the fastboot reincarnation problem you did but I did have many of the same file management problems. For me it was because my data partition was still formatted in FAT for windows and as soon as I reformatted it to Ext4 all the permission issues went away.
