Hi, thanks for posting the info.
In respect of your lsusb results it doesn't look like your camera etc can be found.

I would be curious to know what a HW Probe would reveal:

Whenever you see 'detected' it means the kernel acknowledges its existence but there are no drivers for the 'detected' hardware. Sadly this is the problem of hardware built for that other OS.

But the ASUS HID is marked as detected and it works; is it a generic driver?
