Since I installed Zorin i've encountered this issue where after I connect the headphones (with an integrated microphone "handsfree") every time there is a sound (music, system sound or anything) a buzzing starts playing at the backround until a few seconds after the sound is finished. It is very anoying because Im used to listen to music at low volumes and the buzzing is louder. My laptop is an ASUS M509DA - BR133T

Did You tried Pulse Audio Volume control? It is a Program to set up Audio Input and Output. You can install it with sudo apt install pavucontrol
After the Installation, You should check the Output and Configuration Tab's. At the last one, You can try different Audio Profiles.
If the OP is using USB connected headphones, then they are likely picking up processing buzes, I hear those on occasion, even from just moving the mouse. I am using a USB connected DAC. Although, the only time I hear a faint buzz, is when nothing is playing at all.
The OP should not be hearing a buzz during music playback. I use Pulse Audio to manage my setup, make sure you have your headphones selected for audio output, and that you are also using the proper sound mode, like stereo for example.
Make sure your sound output is not muted as well, you can see the difference, as I have my S.M.S.L SP200 DAC unmuted, vs all other sound outputs set to muted.
