I have a redmi buds 6 rn and the sound quality in zorin is awful, is there any way to fix this?
You can try to install pavucontrol
sudo apt install pavucontrol
and look if you can change the audio profile to A2DP profile.
Or maybe an app like EasyEffects can help.
Welcome to the Forum!
Is it only these specific Phones or a common bad Bluetooth Sound?
Audio quality is really good on my redmi phone but not on pc
Installed it, i don't see the audio profile on bluetooth manager
I meant if You have in common a bad Sound Quality when using Bluetooth for Audio. When You would use for Example Bluetooth Headphones/Headset or an external Bluetooth Speaker.
Yeah I guess
Can't I get SBC audio codec?
Do You have installed Audio Codecs at all?
I don't know how do I check that? I have all packages installed apparently.
OKAY I GOT SBC NOW but it's having interferences now
The first Place, You can check is Gnome Software. Open it, scroll to the End and there is a Button called ''Codecs''. Click on it and You get an Overview with Codec Packages. Install them all.
The next Thing is to do in the Terminal to get additional Support. Type in Terminal:
sudo apt install vlc ffmpeg ubuntu-restricted-extras
The last Package is a Bundle which includes Microsoft Fonts. Because of that, You will get a Prompt where You have to agree to a Licence Agreement. That is normal. Read it and navigate there with the Tab-Key to ''Ok'' and press Enter.
i restarted my pc and now SBC is GONE
So, it doesn't work? Or it does work? I'm irritated because You marked my Post as Solution.
Sorry dude, I got it working somehow with copilot helping me but then I restarted my pc and now the codecs are gone
Aight so, if I use sudo apt install pulseaudio-module-bluetooth and sudo apt install libspa-0.2-bluetooth then disconnect and reconnect or restart bluetooth it gets a2dp
When You have chosen it in the Dropdown Menu, it should be saved.
it does not
Did You tried every Menu Point from the Dropdown Menu?
