Unfortunately, the Zorin Taskbar doesn't offer that out of the Box. You could replace it with the Gnome Extension Dash to Panel - GNOME Shell Extensions
There You can set up an individual Color for the Taskbar. I would suggest to install the Extension Manager in Gnome Software:
and after the Installation open it and on the Installed Tab scroll down and disable the Zorin Taskbar. Then go to the Browsed Tab and search for ''dash to panel'' and install that from charlesg99:

You could set taskbar 50% transparent (or another value) against a dark background.
