Battery charging is always interrupted if I use Balanced or Performance Power Modes

Battery charging is always disrupted (stuttering) if I use Balanced or Performance power modes.

This problem only stops if I use Power Saver Power Mode.

Am I the only one experiencing this?

Device : Dell Latitude 5300
Zorin OS 18

Do You switch during the Load Process to Balanced/Performance Mode or is this when You are already in one of them and You begin to load?

Battery charging always experiences problems if I use Balanced or Performance mode. There is no influence whether I plug in the charger first or choose the mode first.

Okay. Only to be precise here: It charges in Balanced and Performance Mode but not so fast or it doesn't charge entirely? When it charges but only slow, I could image that it is because it runs in Balanced/Performance Mode. Then the Power Consumption can be higher.

This isn't a matter of fast or slow charging. The charging speed is normal in any mode.

The problem is, when using Balance/Performance mode, the charging process becomes intermittent (connects, disconnects, connects, disconnects, and so on). I'm worried this will damage the battery.

All I can do is switch the mode to Power Saver, because only in this mode does the charging process run normally without interruption. But the consequence is that I can't enjoy the normal performance of Zorin OS; instead, it's a bit slower.

This issue isn't limited to version 18, but also to version 17. I used Zorin 17 and experienced this issue, so I switched to version 18, hoping it would be resolved. But it's still the same.

And this doesn't happen on other distros. I don't want to give a negative review of Zorin, but I want this fixed. I really like Zorin OS.
