zorin repo lagging on betterbird happens. till they bump the package id just sidestep it:

-flatpak install flathub eu.betterbird.Betterbird

or grab the linux tarball from betterbird.eu downloads, unpack under ~/betterbird, then a .desktop w/ Exec pointing at that betterbird binary.

dont run apt betterbird and the flatpak at the same time. pick one.

Are you suggesting the "up to date" statement is incorrect?

Betterbird is a Flatpak what seems to come from the Developer. So, the Developer has to update it. That isn't in the Hand of the Zorin Dev's.
