Well with the biggest removal of network code, that is going to be an issue for ham radio users, unless I have read the above article incorrectly.
(And no I have never been a 'ham radio' user).

Hey if ya got time(cause your good at these) maybe make a tuterial on Timeshift and how to set it up and why its so useful in linux. been a rash of folks making errors or stuff just going way wrong and timeshift/rescuezilla as we both know are game changers
wow tryed to install debian 13 on a 250 gb drive had to start over to see how to do it then got it installed tryed to use the terminal then get a your not on sudo users list...lol disabled the drive debian was on got back in to what i was using then deleted the partitions on the drive and the usb stick...man thay make stuff so non user friendly maybe in 2 years ill try again if they have a better installer....lol
Timeshift is covered in the Unofficial Manuals for 17 and 18. 
You will have great fun with PCLOS Debian. If creating an esp / /boot/efi partition at point of install, the only option available is FAT32, but when it comes to install, you are told it has to be ex-fat. It drops you to a different screen where you can do that. But I prefer it because of the fact no systemd. Additionally, they have multiple DE's available, budgie, Cinnamon, KDE Plasma (6.3.6), KDE Plasma Mini, MATE and xfce, all based on Debian 13 and come with XLibre as alternative option alongside Wayland.
Then there is MX-Linux 25.1 also based on Debian 13 KDE Plasma (6.3.6) and gives you the option to choose between systemd or SysV init.
Q4OS 6.7 - have been unable to use this with Ventoy but boots with no issue on DVD. Another KDE Plasma release based onbDebian 13. They intend to include XLibre in future releases too.
And last but not least, LMDE 7, Linux Mint Debian Edition 7. Comes with Cinnamon but because it is based on Debian 13, Synaptic Package Manager allows you to install KDE Plasma (6.3.6).
Plus one more. Devuan 6. Devuan was created by a very large tranche of Debian devs who objected to the imposition of systemd. The default DE is xfce, but you can install alternative/additional DE's at point of install. Additionally, the only GNU/Linux distribution for a blind user who uses a Brailliant device can install it unaided.
ok i watched a vid on what i did wrong seems you leave the 1st password request blank then on next screen your password is the one with sudo abilitys gonna redo it and see if i can get star rail to play on it might be my other distro for abit
Then You seem to have created a seperate Root Password. When You want install Debian and want it a bit easier, I can really recommedn the Debian Live ISO's. With them, you have a Live Mode where you can check it out. And when You install it from this Live Mode, You get the Calamares Installer. I personally find that way easier that the Standard Debian Installer. When I install debian, I use that every Time.
Ya i gave up got alot installed but couldnt get honkai star rail to install got stuck at MFC140 i tryed bottles but the launcher install dont show in downloads. so guess debian is out
