Ok, let's try soft, instead:
amdgpu.reset_method=soft
Wow, this GPU is hard headed.

Wow, this GPU is hard headed.
You're telling me, ha!
Same issue, it now will properly reboot, but still with only one monitor and stuff.
OK, let's stack some parameters together... the full line:
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash amdgpu.reset_method=soft amdgpu.dc=1"
No change, and here is the full line in my grub file.
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash amdgpu.reset_method=soft amdgpu.dc=1"
Moving on up:
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash reboot=efi amdgpu.reset_method=soft amdgpu.dc=1"
Still no change, and I added it exactly the way you put it.
Ok, I am stumped. I want to try one more thing...
sudo apt update && sudo apt install linux-firmware
Once that completes, try a reboot and test. If still no good - I am at a loss at this point...
No change unfortunately. I appreciate the help and the time you have put in. I have sent in a support ticket and will try and get help that way. Thank you again.
Edit: I will just have to hard reboot in the meantime
It is 1:41am here.
Maybe I will be fresher brained tomorrow.
