I am new to zorin. After my lap go to sleep, when I try to wake it up , the screen is blinking with black color. I have to hard restart my lap😧. My laptop is having Intel integrated graphics. My laptop: Dell vostro .....

Could you edit grub:
sudo nano /etc/default/grub
arrow key down to the line:
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash"
and change it to
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash i915.enable_psr=0"
in order to disable the Panel Self Refresh.
Hit ctrl+x to exit, then the y to say "yes to save and the enter key to save as current configuration.
The terminal will revert to normal. At this point, restart the computer and test.

i have selected sign in without password while installing the os -does that make any problem?
It's possible, but I am not sure.
Are you also using Nvidia Graphics?

Think this question was overlooked before:
From Zorin Menu, right click on the app icon, then choose "add to favorites". That should create a shortcut in taskbar. You can't drag them there as in Windows.
