Today i switched to zorin os core i downloaded it but the desktop was blurrier than windows i tried to fix it but its still the same the only thing it made clear was changing scale from 100 to 200 .
Hi and welcome.
Zorin defaults to the Wayland Compositor protocol (that which draws the screen). If you have an nvidia graphics card/chip it does not play nice.
At the login screen, click on your user and a cog appears lower right of screen.
Click on the cog and change from 'Zorin Desktop' to 'Zorin Desktop on xorg' and see if things improve.
I do have a gpu do i need to install its driver?
Thar depends which brand. AMD and intel driver is in the kernel, but Nvidia needs some extra steps and installation to work properly.
What should i do then and how csn i always boot inti zorin
Let's start with, you video card to see what to do. Find the terminal adn copy/paste this;
inxi -Ga
Please post the output.
The driver is installed and you're in xorg. All looking good (well if you look at the numbers).
You'll have to wait on a nvidia expert to drop by. I only run AMD stuff.
Thnx anyways zorin was a lil borin so i am installing fedora now if that doesnt suit me i am gonna get back to zroin
What you ned to remember is Fedora does not offer LTS (Long Term Support) where as Zorin is based on Ubuntu's LTS model.
