I have installed Zorin 16.2, 3 months ago and it has been allot slower booting than I expected.I am a noob and have a little linux experience .

Setup:
Machine: laptop/desktop/etc?
Install: Dual boot/Clean Install etc?

ram:
Drive/s:
graphics card:

Hit CTRL-ALT-A whilst booting and read the logs. What do you see? Also check /var/log/boot.log - Any hints there?
It should be noted that while Windows has technology to reduce boot time, it sacrifices system reliability. Zorin OS does not take such measures because of its emphasis on reliability.
