Thank you!

You could uninstall snap and cut of 20-30 secs. of the boot time if you don't use snap to install stuff with or have installed snap applications.

But don't expect miracles with a HDD that is 5400rpm.

Additionally, upgrading your hard drive to a SATA III SSD drive, will greatly speed up your computer. A mechanical 5400 RPM drive, is literally the slowest mechanical hard drive that you can have, and does you no favors in speed.

Believe it or not, you can still buy SATA III AKA SATA 6GB/s internal SSD drives today. And now is the time to get one, while they are still available. As computer's over the past few years, have moved over to NVME drives, it won't be long before the old technology gets abandoned.

In addition to the Snap Service, you can also disable:

sudo systemctl disable NetworkManager-wait-online.service

safely.
That will shave a bit of time off the boot time.
Everything else you see on the list must remain.

Sorry, I had off the email notifications.

So this it's normal boot time with a 5400rpm.
I guess I can't ask for it to be like when I bought the computer (windows vista) or a few years later (lubuntu, I stopped using it because one of the kernel versions started to take too long to boot, I finally abandoned the laptop).

Thanks for the answers, I did the solutions you suggest (I am still looking for an ssd). I gain 9 seconds aprox.

I did:

sudo apt remove --purge snapd
sudo systemctl disable NetworkManager-wait-online.service

P.S: I changed from core to lite for this, but Is there much difference in boot speed? or only in RAM use? I have actually 4GB. Thanks!

Only write this for comparative.

Before Zorin 16 Lite:

Startup finished in 41.745s (kernel) + 1min 59.977s (userspace) = 2min 41.722s
graphical.target reached after 1min 59.949s in userspace

I Changed to SSD 128GB Patriot P210 Zorin 16.1 Core:

Startup finished in 5.681s (kernel) + 21.212s (userspace) = 26.894s
graphical.target reached after 21.178s in userspace
