I understand how the upgrader works between major versions but can you upgrade from Pro to Core version? For instance, could I upgrade from 17.3 Pro to 18 Core when it gets released?
That would be a nice option. But as the current setup is with the Upgrader tool, it does not have that option.
Thanks Aravisian - I was trying not to spend more money now for the 18 Pro version. Thing are pretty tight so I'll have to install 18 Core then upgrade to Pro when I can 
No discount for next version?
As far as I know, if you purchase the pro version through the updater, you'll get 20% discount. Note: That's what I have heard.
