Gday @robertzou , Welcome to the community !

First try running " Software & update " Open the "additional Drivers " TAB, & see if you have drivers there to be updated, if so select the appropriate drive. then run " Update ".

If No drives visible, please run " software Updater " ,
After update check inxi- n again & in software updater to see if it recognises the network.

For further info/help follow this guide;

You may also need to follow this How to for the above drive, the Realtek RTL8168 Driver covers this device.

No, I don't see any drivers to be updated

The problem is that wifi or ethernet doesn't work so apt doesn't work either.

So your not tethered/connected to the internet on the problem machine/pc that has this issue?
eg: tether the phone to pc via usb cable.

If not, then on the same website it has instruction's for offline installation.

Another approach:
If you had internet when running the install from the usb drive, Then insert the usb drive & boot from the drive. Then follow the above " How To ".
Hope this helps

Have you a mobile that you can hotspot with?

Without any internet connection you will be hampered.

Does your network device/s work when you boot Zorin Live Disk to "Try Zorin"?

Also set your Software Updater to point to "Main Server", instead of a local/regional server.

Use your phone to download the tarball,
connect your phone to the pc, copy the tarball to the computer. Unzip. Follow the instructions in readme for installation.

Still, doesn't work. For some reason, wifi just won't connect (not even to phone).

What is the terminal output of

lspci -nn

Do you have " Fast boot " disabled?

This card is tricky - and the result from that trickiness is that if you have More Than One driver installed, they bounce off of each other.

Which drivers have you installed so far?
Do you have DKMS?
Or is the answer None due to not having net at any point?

Use a usb cable to connect your phone to the pc. Wireless and ethernet is pointless since your wifi card isn't installed.

I reinstalled Zorin and it worked
