My experience. About a month ago my chrome browser started freezing the machine on startup sometimes then always.
I deleted it and reinstalled from the Zorin Software. It worked fine but the version has no sync button. I could not find a way to sync it after a week of effort.
I deleted and and reinstalled from Google download. This version froze the machine immediately on startup. I reinstalled both versions many times with the same result.
Yesterday I found mention of turning on Xorg at the Zorin sign in page on this forum. I turned on Xorg and the problem is solved.

Good to hear that the Browser now runs. I changed the Category because You don't need Help and the Thread Title a bit to make that more clearer.
