I want to add icons to applications since the menu does not automatically display the latest applications. It does not let me add icons manually. In this case I try to add my AIMP player to enable it from the Main Menu
Hi! I think I know the answer to this one, you need to make sure you select an icon for the app by clicking on the space left of (name, command, comment) and then selecting an icon image for the app. I had this same issue and that fixed it for me. I hope it helps you.

I copied svg icon of Wine now its add the icon. I have no idea why i could not add links without icons
