Couldn't uninstall Camera via the Software Center

Some early feedback re: Zorin OS 18. I couldn't uninstall the Camera app via the Software Center. It just wouldn't budge. I tried logging off, restarting, etc., and using the apt-update command. Checked the flatpak and snaps list. Wasn't on there. So I knew it had to be a .DEB file. Found the .DEB name of the Camera app ("gnome-snapshot"), and uninstalled it via Synaptic. Worked then. This is an example of some of the bugs I've noticed with this release, sadly. For example, when connecting to Wi-Fi during the install, the Wi-Fi password window appears in the upper left part of the screen. Same for other apps, like Gdebi when installing a .DEB file. This did NOT happen in Zorin 17. And so on and on.

One more thing. When I set up a web app, the window kept opening to the left. Every time. Why? Wasn't this tested prior to release? I have the window settings sent to open windows centered. Another example of a bug in Zorin 18.

Did You used apt remove to uninstall it or apt purge?

Synaptic.

I mean before using Synaptic.

No. Tried it first with the Software Center, and nothing. I mean absolutely nothing would budge. Tried restarting, etc. Finally I went into Synaptic and deleted it that way. No terminal. This help? Thanks.

It could help and would be worth a Try but when You have already solved it, it's not neccessary to do it.

I meant "this help?" as in, "does it help clarify the situation for you?" Little language barrier there. Thanks anyhow.
