Curious why this will sometime appear on my login screen

Running Zorin 17.3 on an Asus Zenbook, i7 (11th gen? I think), 16Gb RAM 8 cores. Sometimes after locking the system when I move the mouse to make the login screen come back on my LG ext monitor I get something like the image here:

These are listed at the bottom of my login screen, below where I put in my password. It can be different programs listed, most of the time none are listed. I don't think I ever see it when I turn on the laptop in the morning, just sometimes when I come back from locking it or it locks itself after 15 minutes of inactivity. As far as I know it does not affect the functioning of the system in anyway.

1st question: why does it happen?
2nd question: the second one in the image, "Snapd User Session Agent" sounds like a system process more than an application. What is it and what does it do? I checked the system monitor and there is a process running but it is only called "Snap".

Thanks

That shows running suspended processes that will also awaken when you log in.

BackUps is the DejaDup backup service that you can use to backup files to prevent data loss. The reason you are seeing it is probably due to it having a Popup Reminder that DejaDup can backup your files - if you have not set up a backup plan.
I... do not use it. I backup my files as I go.

Snap and SnapD are package management options created by and supplied by Canonical (The company that makes Ubuntu).
The user session agent runs to check if any Snap packages need to be mounted.

If you are using Snap packages, this ensures that they do not need to take time to initialize.
If you do not use and do not plan to use Snap packages; you can uninstall Snap and SnapD.

You can go to settings>notifications and disable notifications on the lockscreen there.
