Does Metastock install / function on Zorin please?
I'm not really sure what Metastock is but the only real way to know for sure is to try it out. Check if there's a version for Linux specifically, which will have a much better chance of working.
Remember that Zorin OS 17 is based on Ubuntu 22.04 when looking for an installer, since there's a newer release of Ubuntu (24.04) that will not work.

Having a quick look at their site it claims it will work on Mac and Linux provided I suspect you are running a VM of Windows inside of it. As it looks like they are catering to the Windows 11 Crowd you are going to need at least 32 Gb of RAM to be able to run Windows 11 which needs a minimum of 12 Gb RAM.
