All apps of Zorin installed on Zorin Pro are free and you can install them on Core if you like.
With a little effort, you can set up the additional layouts yourself.
The Pro version doesn't run better than Core, it has just more preinstalled apps and layouts.

will there be any improvement in system performance

No. Pro is no different than Core, except additional desktop layout options and a lot of bundled apps are included. Pro is primarily a mechanism for funding the ZorinOS devs for their work.

You don't have to upgrade to Pro. You can stay on Core as long as You want. Core isn't something like a Test Version.

some on us have pro to support the community...you can donate if you like tho

Will there be decrease in performance and stability If I am using extension for customizing like Dash to Dock

nope i use it and arc menu no real change in performance

linux isnt like windows with 100's and 100's of processes running in the background so gives way faster and smoother performance

Third party gnome extensions can make problems and stability problems or produce conflicts with the Zorin extensions, e.g. Just perfection, but Dash to dock, Dash to Panel or Arc Menu are safe to use. If you want to use the dock or other extensions for the panel it is the best to disable the Zorin taskbar before in the extension manager.

what is zorin taskbar

The normal panel of Zorin, by default at the bottom of the screen, in the Zorin Appearance layouts 1-3. In layout 4 the original gnome topbar at the top of the screen is used and Zorin taskbar is disabled. The panel of Zorin is a gnome-extension named "Zorin taskbar".

When you install the "Dash to dock" gnome-extension and don´t disable the Zorin taskbar, you get two panels: the dock and the taskbar. That doesn´t look good. You can move one to the top, but most users only use just one of them.

You can disable the Zorin taskbar at tab "installed" in the extension-manager.
