Hello, I installed zorin OS core 18 update and this is my problem: I can't download music videos from you tube via online converter (aiseo converts video to mp3) to mp3 music tracks. What should I do? Thanks for the help...

try to do this in terminal
sudo apt install ffmpeg
or you can try this with a GUI

You could try Varia. It is availabe in Gnome Software.

Good morning, thanks for the kind answer I installed "ffmpeg" but nothing has changed Leaving aside the second suggestion (I'm not familiar with GUI and similar things so I wouldn't know what to do For the third suggestion I tried to install "youtube-dl" but the answer is "the youtube-dl package has no versions available, but it is named by another package. This could indicate that the package is missing, outdated or it is only available within another source E: The package "youtube-dl" has no candidates to install" so I don't know what to do

You can install
sudo apt install youtubedl-gui
Then search in start menu for youtube
Enter the URL for the video you like to download, select the download path and click on download.
I tested the Open Video Downloader (Appimage version) and it worked. I downloaded the audio of a youtube video to mp3 format.
If you want to try MediaHuman youtube to mp3 converter you can add their repository as shown here to allways get the latest version:
There is in Plasma (LMDE 7 after installing Plasma, PCLOS Debian Plasma, Q4OS Plasma).
Good morning, in the meantime thanks for the answer I installed "youtubedl" I ask for a further courtesy: I have been a Zorin Os 18 core user for a short time and I have no computer knowledge... Is it possible to receive an example to follow to understand the various steps? I would be very grateful.

Here I am again, Thank you for your courtesy and patience... I started youtube downloader, entered url of the video from which to download mp3, but a message appears saying "Failed! Recheck input for error"...

With Zorin OS 17 core I used this sequence: youube page,online converter page... copy video url,paste url to converter... Video to MP Conversion... MP3 file downloaded on "downloaded" ready to be included in playlists on a flash drive, to be listened to in the car
With update to Zorin OS 18core, the downloaded file is an "index.m3u8" file for example... That's my problem
I apologize for engaging your attention perhaps for a small problem, but not having computer knowledge (I switched from windows 10 to zorin a few months ago), I have difficulty in understanding what for many will be "a joke" and I apologize...
Long experienced users struggle with youtube-dl.
It is tricky and has many blocks in the way - that is why I suggested the standalone app above.
