its in zorin software shop so im not understanding I thought stuff in shop would be tried and tested and ready to go.buyers regret
my copy and paste not working can grey highlight but not copy.may another re install 4th time lucky
You can take a look at options > settings >keyboard shortcuts to see what shortcuts are set for ksnip and to change them.
With the normal print + shift key the integrated screenshot tool is used, not ksnip. You can change that if you like or edit the screenshots afterwards with ksnip.
I've not used copy and paste yet, so I don't know what you want to do.
You can try to press Ctrl+Shift+V to paste the image.
yes i knew it wassnt ksnip as it wont open.I expected zorin software to have it tried and tested as it is in shop.a few users on here having probs with HP laptops like me.I was attracted to zorin for supposed Windows like os but its far from it.im kinda used to windows tool done in 10 secs ,having to shift print then edit is big pain.thanks for help
It takes some time to get used to Linux. And yes - understanding how the software is managed is really complicated at first. Especially when apps don't work as they should because of sandboxing (flatpak, snaps), Wayland issues or broken packages.
There have been a number of issues recently regarding 'Software'. Unfortunately, some of this is beyond Team Zorin's control as you will see that it is actually 'gnome-software'.
I will always prefer Synaptic Package Manager over any Software store/channel as it only contains APT packages, no Flatpak and Snap packages which create Bloatware.
yes i have mint on anothrt lapt
thx ill have a look Synaptic Package Manager
i havent touched laptop in almost a week.I think promoting zorin as windows similar is not reallly you the deal
Take a look at Q4OS. Sadly 6.6 is no longer available as 6.7 won't boot off Ventoy, only DVD.

You could give 5.9 a try as it is supported until June 2028.
