Fill taskbar when window is maximized

I like Zorin 18 so far; after I left 16, it's been markedly improved. I've made it my default OS on all of my desktops and laptops. My only gripe with it currently is that the taskbar doesn't expand or fill up the rest of the bottom when a window is maximized. I've had this kind of functionality on Fedora before, so I know it's possible, I just can't remember how I did that, and I'm afraid if I enable a plugin that messes with it, itll mess up whatever modifications the zorin plugins made.

The Zorin Taskbar doesn't offer that. But You can in the Taskbar Settings the the Margin to 0 to have it completely on the Ground with no free Space.

You could take a Look at the Gnome Extension Dash To Panel, if this offers this Function. Or maybe Dash To Dock.
