This is the fifth time Firefox has closed on me while typing a reply on YouTube. It even closed on me while typing the title to this topic. I have no idea why it does this. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Can you provide us with details of make and model and specs of machine and whether you are running Core or Lite?

You can reinstall the browser or use another browser and purge Firefox.
I Personally recommend Brave-Browser 
For installing Brave and uninstalling Firefox use command :-
#To remove Firefox
sudo apt purge firefox
#To install Brave
sudo apt install apt-transport-https curl
sudo curl -fsSLo /usr/share/keyrings/brave-browser-archive-keyring.gpg https://brave-browser-apt-release.s3.brave.com/brave-browser-archive-keyring.gpg
echo "deb [signed-by=/usr/share/keyrings/brave-browser-archive-keyring.gpg arch=amd64] https://brave-browser-apt-release.s3.brave.com/ stable main"|sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/brave-browser-release.list
sudo apt update
sudo apt install brave-browser

Which Firefox are you using?
I suggest you uninstall the one pre-installed and install Firefox directly from Firefox.
I'm using it without issues that many others complain about in particular the Snap version.

I switched to Brave Browser and have had no such problems lately. Thanks for all the info.
