Flatpak permissions

Is it possible to implement a similar program like flatpak-kcm that's only for KDE in Zorins Gnome and Xfce to manage the permissions of flatpaks? So flatseal would no longer be neccessary and permissions could be changed in normal settings.

Not without you written/rewritten Gnome Settings Applications.

Exactly! Unless @Forpli is a code wizard, Flatseal will always be required.

I wanted to ask whether such a function is perhaps also being considered/planned by the Zorin developers or ubuntu for other desktopenvironments?
I didn't quite understand what you were trying to tell me.
Does this mean that even in KDE flatseal is still needed despite this function? Then it would not be very helpful.

I could be wrong, but I doubt that KDE re-write Flatseal from scratch. What they did is integrate it into their settings panel. This could technically be done but is not like it's a trivial thing to do, requiring I'm sure many changed under the hood...

However, more integration with Flatpak is not something that I want to see, personally. There's already Flatseal available, so there's no need to complicate things.

@zenzen Yes, that's a good argument against integrating it into the settings. It is perhaps also a signal in the wrong direction, because it would integrate flatpaks or their management even more into the system and you wouldn't be able to get rid of this settings as easily as before with flatseal. I hadn't thought of that.
