Edit: SOLVED. If you are using Brave browser, just disable the shield functionality for the web ui portal and it will begin to work correctly.
I downloaded the fah-client_8.4.9_amd64.deb installation package from Start Folding – Folding@home. It seemed to install properly since I didn't get any errors. After installation, I launched the app from my start menu and it directed me to the web UI, where I managed to login to the service. However, it doesn't seem to be able to connect to my PC? When I view open processes with system monitor, I don't see anything FAH related running on my machine -- which I am guessing I should have right? How should I proceed?
For context, I have Windows 11 installed on another SSD with the FAH client and I can run it just fine there, so at least there shouldnt be any router or network related issues at play here. And when I log in to the FAH web portal on Zorin it does show my Win 11 machine there in "Disconnected" state. But no sign of this Zorin machine there.
