Fractional Scaling issue - screen zoomed in to the top left corner

Hi, I just spent several hours switching my laptop from WIndows 11 to ZorinOS, and I had just about gotten everything set up the way I want it. I was fiddling with the display settings and turned on fractional scaling, and my display is now permanently zoomed in on the top left quarter of my screen, and there doesn't seem to be any way to move the view to be able to turn off the setting. I restarted the laptop and now I can't even login because I can't see the password field. Is there any way around this? I can wipe it again and reinstall, but I'd rather not lose that time if I can avoid it.

Never mind, it made me a liar. I powered it off completely and started back up and it's working fine. All good now.

Hi and welcome.

Out of curiosity, were you running Zorin on Wayland? Zorin defaults to using the Wayland protocol for drawing the screen. To change this, select your username at the login screen and a small cog appears lower right. You only have to do this once, left-click on the cog and change to 'Zorin desktop on .xorg'.
