With Zorin OS 18 slated for release later this year, I figured it'd be appropriate to post again (as a reminder) about the power management suggestion I made before. Zorin OS 18 would really benefit from a built-in option to prevent games or whatever from going dark when in fullscreen mode (much like how the Espresso or Caffeine extension helps with). One thing that I love about Cinnamon in Linux Mint is how power management for games isn't an issue, because it handles it well (especially when gaming on a gamepad). I'm grateful for the Espresso extension on Zorin OS, because it makes life easier. I know other GNOME distros have included additional extensions for user convenience. Zorin OS 18 could benefit from this. Or its own take on power management for games and movies. Whatever can be done. That'd help with improving the user experience and cut down on the stuff users have to do just to get a Windows-like experience in a few respects. Thanks.
