So the prob is that none of vids seem to work online.
All youtube vids work good
All downloaded vids also good
Prob is online like whatsapp or netflix
I believe this is a common known prob on linux and there is a solution to this
Im just a noob i need instructions from scratch
What Browser do You use? Is it Flatpak or APT Version?
Another Point could be the Codecs. Open Gnome Software Center scroll on the Main Page all the way down and there You find a Button called ''Codecs''. Click on it and You get an Overview with Codec Packages. Install them all.
Then You can install in the Terminal with the Command sudo apt install ubuntu-restricted-extras more Codecs. But You have to accept a Licence Aggreement because this Package is a Bundle with Microsoft Fonts. So, this is normal.
Installing VLC Media Player can give more Codec Support, too. You can install it with sudo apt install vlc
And then there is ffmpeg, too. You can install this with sudo apt install ffmpeg
After installing all this, I would suggest to reboot and then check if it works.
