Hi, my computer wants to update and I see stuff with google in it and am very wary. Cant find info on what this actually is so am asking here. I don't want to believe that Zorin would be malicious or anything like that by sneaking google stuff in.... but is this something I should watch out for and not install?
Could You show the Update/s? I mean, make a Picture and post it here.
You don't have to be worry it's just libraries, they are not active till you want to use it...
What does that mean exactly? And if I did use them - even inadvertently - should I be worried then?
That mean you don't have to be worry...
search on the web what is a library, maybe you will understand...
So it's for writing code? Does this let google inch its way into my computer somehow? I just thought that having Zorin OS would not have anything to do with google at all which is why I wanted to ask...
This should be Library Files for the Account Implementation. When You go to Settings>Online Accounts, You log in to Your Google Stuff. And these Libraries are for this Function.
When You click on one of the Update Entrie's, You should get in the bottom Half a Changelog. And at the Beginning of it, You have directly a Description of the Package. You can read that, too.
Ok thanks!
