GPU problems

hi,
I installed zorin a couple of days ago,I managed to solve some issues on my own but this one i cant do myself. I have installed Steam & Lutris to try some gaming performance, but i noticed they were all running slower than expected. I suspected that maybe my GPU was not working. When I checked the hardware specs it said I was using

NVIDIA Corporation / Mesa Intel® UHD Graphics (TGL GT1) which i have no idea what it means, but it is not a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti

any possibility i need to install drivers?

Hi,

Try this Gnome extension. It let you switch between the intel and nvidia driver. But you need to have nvidia-prime driver installed. Check additional driver to see if Nvidia driver is installed.

https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/1275/prime-indicator/

alright ill look into it, i will reply in a couple of minutes to see if it worked

I downloaded the shell file from the link you sent and nvidia-prime.
How does one install it all?

You need to activate firefox gnome extension (I think you'll find it under Firefox-addons, it's been long time since I did it).
Then

sudo apt install gnome-shell-extension-prefs

[Alt]+[F2]
type

r

then in terminal again;

/usr/bin/gnome-extensions-app
