This shows EDID is being recognized.
It can still be a mode mismatch, if the new screen has slightly different modes.

journalctl -b | grep -E "amdgpu|gnome-shell|gdm"

Do you have an External Monitor and cable that you can check if that has a display output?

In the end I gave up and did a fresh install... :sob:
