I know that the Zorin brothers own and take care of Zorin OS, but if for some circumstance in life something happened to them, who would take care of the distribution or would there be the distribution? Or if the Ubuntu company for bad luck went bankrupt and closed, what would happen to the distribution?
We'd move over to straight Debian, which in IMO they should do anyhow.
As for the rest, the same could be asked for any distro and company
