I am fairly new to linux, any help would be great in the future. Every time i boot up my pc i am greeted by this screen which theres a simple fix my typing “Exit” but i do no want to do that every time i boot up, does anyone know how to go about doing this?
thats grub 2.12 sitting at a grub> prompt. exit just bails to the next efi boot entry so the machine still comes up.
after ur in a working desktop:
-efibootmgr -v
-put the zorin/ubuntu entry first
if it keeps dumping to grub> every cold boot, from a zorin live usb:
-boot repair from the store
or
-mount ur root + efi and run grub-install + update-grub

Are Secure Boot and Fast Boot in BIOS disabled? Is in BIOS in the Boot Order and Entry called ''Zorin'' or ''ubuntu'' on the first Position? If not, change it.
