I am looking for Zorin Linux compatible printer or printer/scanner for a Core i5 based system with 16GB of RAM
I don't really use it much but the HP Envy 6000 series seems to work for me
I'm not sure if I recommend it though, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't (not a Zorin fault, since it fails on my dad's windows computer more often than it does on my zorin laptop, so it's a printer problem)
It works as in it is supported by Zorin, but the printer itself can be a bit problematic sometimes, so I'm not sure if I recommend it
When it comes to usage: libreoffice, firefox, and I'm guessing most programs that support files that one would want to print have support for printing. When it comes to scanners, specifically the ones from the HP brand, you would have to download a tool called "hplip" and open a program that I think was called something like "HP Toolbox" to use it
I am using a Xerox WorkCentre 6515 DNI. Printing and scanning works fine.
I have an old HP Deskjet 2540 who works on Zorin 17.
Thanks for the tip I will check them out
