hi Folks, Couple days ago I upgraded from Zorin 16.3 to 17.3 on my Dell 6400 Laptop. I've used Zorin for years, and before that Ubuntu. Know my way around. With 16.3 and 17.3 I don't understand this "Lockring" feature. What is that all about? Seems to be a nuisance. Several times during the install, I was asked to put in a password for the Lockring. Some applications (it does not say which) keep asking for the lockring password. Please can somebody explain what this lockring is for, and how to get rid of the repetitive demands for the lockring password.
