hi so i have recently been trying to install games on my zorin OS and it gave me that error first dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'sudo dpkg --configure -a' to correct the problem and it persist and when i run that required command it shows me a screen that i need to do extra steps to the safe boot option in my BIOS
Please provide a screenshot of it.
The easiest way is to disable secure boot in BIOS - then you don't have to mess with extra steps.
it demand me somehow to assign a password for secure boot and i am afraid that would do anything bad to the BIOS or system
IT recommending that you disable secure boot and fast boot when using a Linux system.
thank you so much i was so worried i thought i was going to lose the system
For what it's worth, I've run into this a couple times. Generally it would ask you for a password, then when you reboot it would ask for said password again to enroll, and that would be it. I generally have secure boot off, to avoid stuff like this, but generally it's a one time thing.
