I clicked on something while configuring it, and left it because I liked it, but now I don't like it anymore. How do I get rid of these icons now? I've been trying for 20 minutes, but nothing worked. I even searched for a solution but couldn't find anything.
Most likely it's a gnome shell extension. Use the Extension Manager to locate it. Then you can switch it off, or remove it.
Usually it is called "workspace indicator".

It should be the Workspace Indicator like @Forpli already wrote. If not done, install the Extension Manager in Gnome Software:
When installed open it and scorll down until You see the Workspace Indicator and check if it is enabled. If yes, disable it.
