I'm trying to figure out how to delay the crash notification in ZorinOS Pro. I actually really like this feature, so I don't want to shut it off completely, but I would like to delay it for about 7 seconds. The problem is that it pops up if a program is loading for more than 2-3 seconds, and it gets really annoying after a while.
I haven't checked myself but from what I can find:
Install dconf editor (should be available through software)
In dconf editor, we are going to go to:
- org/gnome/mutter/check-alive-timeout
The delay supposedly is default to 5000 (I'm at work, therefore can't check). Changing that value to a larger amount should do what you're looking for.

Let me know how it works out. If it works, just mark off the solution so others know in the future
