I have read topics here in the forum talked about window snapping, but all talked about gnome extensions or pop shell, there r default configuration in xfce to do that , or i can use pop shell in xfce?
Nope, Pop-shell is made for the GNOME desktop, which Zorin uses
Open Settings
from the App Menu, then `Window Manager > Advanced > Window Snapping
, good but i talk about what pop shell do like the previous picture
Keyboard shortcuts included do this - and they work as I use them.
if you want a Tiling Manager, Zentile works well:
I tried the native window manger, it's very good, i can do tiling very well now , thank u very much
for the zentile app, I didn't use it, because i can't launch it because i can't make it executable, i do what in it's instructions but i have never succeeded in that type of app to make it executable
Did you extract the zip, prior to running the command?
no, but it's not zip file
oohh...
uh...
chmod a+x zentile_linux_amd64
It has underscores, not dashes.
thank u very much, it's working now. its the fault of them in it's instruction , thank u Aravisian , u r very observant.
I like to use xpytile https://github.com/jaywilkas/xpytile/
It's a nice tiling helper for xfce. Also simultaneous resizing of neighboring windows works very well, keyboard- as well as mouse-driven.
