How to change system font for a specific language

Is there a way to change the font of an individual language without affecting other languages (eg. English) and number?

I am not sure of this; I tried a net search on the issue and found the same suggestion repeated in various places which is this:

I was facing a similar issue for Japanese fonts. My solution is installing a programming font which has both Japanese and English set of characters (Myrica or Cica). I do not know which language font you need, but programming font is a good place to start searching.
