Doing so is likely to break your build of Zorin OS.
I did look at the developers page. It looks like they are running and testing in Windows OS - and using the absolute latest GnuLinux for quick testing GnuLinux compatibility.
They also switched from Python to Rust; which will set higher dependencies.
Aside from Docker... you might be able to run it in a Virtual Machine running Windows, if the computer has good specs.
