Surely VLC player is better available as a apt direct from Zorin Software store rather than as a Snap with its bloat and fortifications.

Yeah I thought she was already installing snap and spotify with it. So, there won't be a problem in that, But sure I will make the change

You can try adding a line to sudoers file
in terminal
sudo visudo
user_name ALL=(ALL) NOPASSWD:/usr/bin/apt update, /usr/bin/apt upgrade, /usr/bin/gnome-software
Use your username, this will bypass a password prompt for apt update, apt upgrade, and the gnome-software apt (Software) I can't remember if entries for snap and flathub are needed as well.
