I'm new to Zorin and I was wondering how to type with hanzi in Zorin. I have the Chinese language pack installed and Chinese keyboard layout selected, but there are no hanzi. What am I supposed to do?

I don't know if it will help, but if you install Synaptic Package Manager you can install 'texlive-lang-chinese' which mentions hanzibox:
